One of the installation stages of superstructure beams of the overpass above M-11 Highway in the alignment with Kolpinskoye Highway is completed. In particular, the installation stage is completed for span 1.2 - 14 pieces of 23-meter beams are installed. Taking into account the complicated transport accessibility of the residential area, the beams installation was performed without arrangement of a temporary lay-down area at the facility. The next stage to be carried out from 17 to 27 February will include installation of 14 pieces of 15-meter beams. In parallel, a temporary bypass scheme for Kolpinskoye Highway is being prepared for arrangement of the approach embankment, in particular, the existing temporary bypass road is being extended.
The overpass at Kolpinskoye Highway is one of 14 overpasses at the main line of Section 8 of Moscow - St. Petersburg M-11 Highway. Section 8 of Moscow - St. Petersburg Highway means km 646 - km 684 section of the Highway. 34.2 km long Highway section will run through Tosnensky District of Leningrad Region close to Yam-Izhora and Voyskorovo residential areas. In Saint Petersburg, the Highway will run through Moskovsky and Pushkinsky Districts. The Highway will intersect Izhora River, go over Mga-Stekolny railroad haul and under Warsaw direction railway tracks.
