On Tuesday, 25 July, the Kolpino overpass through the Moscow – St. Petersburg M11 Highway opened for traffic. The overpass near the Slavyanka residential complex is part of Section 8 construction while providing a link between Pushkin and Moscow Highway.
The 38-m long and 28-m wide reinforced concrete structure sits on six piers and ensures a two-lane traffic in each direction. There are also sidewalks for pedestrians.
Currently, traffic is open at three lanes only as per a temporary scheme. Full-fledged traffic will start after installation of noise protection screens.
